At the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI), we are committed to supporting the next generation of researchers. Our Honours Student Scholarships, valued at $5,000, are designed to assist high-achieving students during their Honours year.
Eligible Honours and Bachelor of Medical Science students completing their research at MCRI will be automatically assessed based on prior academic achievement.

MCRI postgraduate health research scholarships
Each year, the Melbourne Children’s Campus offers scholarships to support health professionals undertaking research on campus as part of their postgraduate research training.
These scholarships are available to graduates in medicine, surgery, nursing, and allied health who wish to pursue a PhD and develop their careers as clinical researchers. The support provided is equivalent to NHMRC scholarship stipends.
Eligibility
Applicants must have a research or clinical connection with The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH), and their research must be conducted on the Melbourne Children’s Campus.
