Katherine is a regulatory bureaucracy nerd with a background in biomedical science, clinical trials and bioethics. She is currently undertaking a PhD in the Stem Cell Policy and Ethics group at MCRI.

In her role as Gene Therapy Trials Readiness Coordinator at the MCTC, Katherine works on ensuring that the Melbourne Children's Campus is prepared for gene therapy delivery. Her work includes engaging with stakeholders, developing resources and education, and strengthening MCC's links with other institutions around Australia delivering gene therapies.
