MCRI is thrilled to announce that our right@home nurse home visiting program is a finalist in the 2019 VicHealth Awards for improving health equity.  

The right@home program is a collaboration between MCRI, the Centre for Community Child HealthAustralian Research Alliance for Children and Youth (ARACY) and Western Sydney University

Designed to promote family wellbeing and child development, the program places nurses in children's homes from birth to two years old, on a regular basis, to support mothers to develop parenting skills.

The VicHealth Awards are the state's highest accolade for health promotion, recognising the efforts of local grassroots projects to state-wide campaigns and everything in between.

59 finalists have been announced in the 2019 VicHealth Awards, showcasing the trailblazing health promotion work taking place across Victoria.

The winners will be announced on Wednesday, 3 December.
